The world of Blerds is growing in 2019 with festivals, conferences, balls and much more. In this mix, you will find Blerd City Con, a black nerd conference hosted in Brooklyn, NY. This annual event includes a kaleidoscope of activities and we were fortunate to see so many centered around this year’s theme: BLACK HORROR. The weekend-long event included a Cosplay lounge, a Harriet Tubman Stamping Station, various film screenings and workshops such as “Write and Sip workshop Geek Journalism 101.
