TMZ has reported that Drake filed a lawsuit against Instagram model Layla Lace for making false rape and pregnancy claims and attempting to extort him. According to the lawsuit, Drake claims to have met Layla in Manchester, England during his Boy Meets World tour in February 2017. He said the two had consensual sex and that “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex…” The lawsuit claims that Layla lawyered up back in May 2017 and demanded money from Drake for her alleged baby. It was also stated that Drake was threatened with a defamation lawsuit for claiming to not have known her as reported in a TMZ story from April 2017. Drake claims he asked for a paternity test to no avail. The lawsuit also claims after Drake inquired about a paternity test Layla and her lawyer went ghost.

“There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall.”
