(AURN) — WASHINGTON (AP) – A U.S. official says the FBI is going to have to comb through thousands of newly discovered emails to see if they contain classified material, as part of a renewed examination of the email practices of Hillary Clinton and her aides. And it’s far from certain whether that review will wrap up by Election Day.

The White House has responded by refusing to defend or criticize FBI James Comey’s decision to reveal the information so close to the election.  AURN’s Kim Lampkins has more.
