By most accounts, the first presidential debate was painful to watch. President Trump habitually talked over Vice President Joe Biden and moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News as well as raising his voice and interfering with the debate process.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Joe Biden should not lower himself by having a second debate with Donald Trump.
Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) said Joe Biden does not back down from a chance to speak to the American people. The next debate will see Harris against Vice President Mike Pence.
