The mother of Tyrese Gibson’s daughter has accused the actor of breaching a temporary restraining order. The claims were made after a plane carrying a banner reading ‘No matter what, Daddy loves you Shayla’ flew over the preteen’s school in Los Angeles. The 10-year-old was said to be ‘mortified’ by the public display, which came ahead of her Tuesday court date to testify against her father.

Tyrese’s ex-wife Norma Gibson previously accused the Fast and The Furious star of child abuse, saying he spanked their only child on multiple occasions. He denies the claims, which sparked an investigation by the L.A. County of Department of Children and Family Services. Norma is seeking to have a temporary restraining order keeping the actor from contacting his former wife and daughter made permanent. She is also seeking full physical and legal custody.

According to The Blast, deliveries of flowers, balloons, teddy bears and an edible arrangement have also been sent to the Van Nuys elementary school for Shayla. Norma reported both the banner and gifts, believing they were an attempt to sway her daughter’s testimony, and a breach of the restraining order.
