The press was ready to question White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders after revelations by President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani that the president reimbursed Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels, which made a connection to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
