(AURN) -- Rep. Allen West (R-FL) hosted a Capitol Hill forum this week where black conservatives said that even though President Barack Obama is in the White House, African-American businesses continue to trail their white counterparts in terms of sales, profits and payrolls. During the event, BET Founder & Chairman Bob Johnson said African-American businesses still need help to catch up while Georgia County Commissioner Ashley Bell-who represents a majority white area-said time for minority set-asides should be over.
