(AURN)  -- The Stand Your Ground Law is back in the spotlight as a domestic violence victim in Jacksonville, Florida faces 20 years in prison for standing her ground.  Marissa Alexander fired a warning shot into her ceiling to stop her husband from beating her.  No one was hurt and her husband fled the scene, but now she is sitting in a pretrial detention center in the Jacksonville, FL awaiting a mandartory 20-year sentence.  The case leaves many to speculate whether the law that allowed George Zimmerman, who killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, to walk free for over a month before being arrested, has a reverse affect for African Americans.
