“Every day in the street, somebody calls me Cube, I tell ‘em that’s my loved one, but it’s Ice-T, dude.”

West Coast hip hop legends Ice-T and Ice Cube have always had a common knowledge that rap novices will mistakenly confuse the name of the two. Sharing the same first part of their rap monikers caused some confusion for one Twitter user who tried to blast Ice Cube but caught the wrath of Ice-T.

Last week, Bill Maher created a stir when he referred to himself as a “house ni**er,” prompting Ice Cube to visit Real Time With Bill Maher Friday, June 9.

Cube told the political talk show host that the n-word is a word that African Americans have taken ownership of despite its negative historical context. However, one Twitter user couldn’t wait to blast Ice Cube for his comments, and they let Ice know. Unfortunately, it was Ice-T.

“Screw U 4 Whining on Bill Maher. When is ur music gonna respect women? How dare U go on the show and whine like this”. The Law and Order: SVU star quickly responded. “Wrong Ice B**ch”. Guess he went back to his pimpin’ days on that one.
