Rev. Al Sharpton has called for federal legislation following the deaths of George Floyd and Daunte Wright and decried the over-policing of Black communities.

Rev. Sharpton held a news conference in New York City alongside Benjamin Crump, attorney for the Wright family, Lesley McSpadden, mother of Michael Brown, and Gwen Carr, mother of Eric Garner.
