Governor Greg Abbott has vowed to arrest Democrat state lawmakers who boarded a plane to Washington, DC to stall the passing of a bill which infringed on voting rights.

Democrats in Texas promise to stay out of the state during the state legislature’s special session. By remaining out of state, Democrats keep Republicans from holding a vote on a bill which advocates say it will make voting in communities of color more difficult.
