Rev. Dr. Barber: Refuse to Be Comfortable with the Death of Others

Rev. Dr. William Barber, Jr. of the Poor People’s Campaign sent letters to Senate and Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle calling for them to refuse to be comfortable with other people dying. Rev. Barber is also calling for digital protests in the midsts of the pandemic.

The Congressional Black Caucus is touting a new bill requiring health data on impacted communities, particularly African Americans, who have been affected disproportionately by COVID-19.
