(AURN News) — Federal investigators have found no links between the alleged shooter in Charlie Kirk’s death and left-wing groups, according to a report from NBC News.

Citing three sources familiar with the probe, NBC reported that the investigation has so far turned up no evidence tying the suspect to liberal or progressive organizations. That contrasts with statements from President Donald Trump and members of his administration, who have publicly blamed the “radical left” for Kirk’s death.

Kirk, a conservative commentator and leader of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed — a case that has drawn intense national attention.

The investigation remains active, and no final conclusions have been released.
