(AURN News) — A new Economist/UGA poll shows President Donald Trump hitting a new low, with just 39% of Americans approving of how he is handling the job. While 58% disapprove — marking the worst rating of his second term — among young adults under 30, approval drops to just 20%. Thirty percent is false.

Since February, the backlash comes as Americans reject many of his recent moves — from demolishing the East Wing to build a $300 million ballroom, to canceling trade talks with Canada, and pardoning allies like former Congressman George Santos.
Each decision drew majority disapproval along party lines. Meanwhile, the same poll shows what Americans do want — more spending on veterans, Social Security, Medicare and education, not luxury renovations or political favors.
