(AURN News) — Massive “No Kings” protests swept across the country on March 28, marking the third coordinated wave of demonstrations against President Donald Trump’s second-term agenda, according to USA Today.
Organizers planned more than 3,000 events nationwide, with crowds gathering in states including California, New Jersey, Texas and Washington, D.C.

Protesters marched, chanted and waved signs, creating a festival-like atmosphere, with some handing out supplies and others dressed in costumes.
A major rally in St. Paul featured public figures including Tim Walz, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar and Jane Fonda, along with a performance by Bruce Springsteen.
Demonstrators voiced frustration with Trump’s policies, as signs and chants called for accountability.
While most protests were peaceful, some detentions were reported in Los Angeles. Similar demonstrations also took place internationally, including in Rome, highlighting the movement’s growing global reach.
