(AURN News) — Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., according to NPR.

The NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced the news Monday night. Since 2019, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has partnered with the NFL to help produce the halftime show.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said he had long hoped the rapper would eventually take the stage himself. Jay-Z called the performance a milestone in a journey spanning 30 years, beginning with his debut album, “Reasonable Doubt,” released in 1996.

The announcement follows a series of sold-out anniversary concerts in New York, London, Paris and Southern California, featuring appearances by Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem and other stars.

A 25-time Grammy winner, Jay-Z is also a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Roc Nation will executive produce the halftime show.
