Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former Republican President George W. Bush, has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

In a statement, Bush said, “It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend. I’m hopeful they’ll move our country forward and protect women’s rights.”

While Bush actively supports Harris, her parents, the former President and First Lady, have opted not to endorse any candidate in this year’s election.

In contrast, former Vice President Dick Cheney has endorsed Harris, with his daughter, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, campaigning alongside her in pivotal swing states. Earlier this month, Susan Ford Bales, daughter of President Gerald Ford, also endorsed Harris in Michigan.
