Delaware State University, the historically black institution in Dover, Delaware, proudly declared a new enrollment milestone, as reported by WHYY. President Dr. Tony Allen shared that the university has witnessed a remarkable 3.5 percent surge, boasting 6,451 students for the fall semester.

This surge marks a significant 23 percent increase since 2020, a noteworthy feat amidst the decline in college enrollment nationwide over the past decade

With aspirations soaring high, Delaware State aims to expand further, setting a target of reaching 10,000 undergraduate enrollments by the year 2030.
