“You know, you might not know it, but I haven’t given a lot of big speeches like this. Been a lot of pep talks.”

“Let me finish with this, team: it’s the fourth quarter. We’re down a field goal. But we’re on offense, and we’ve got the ball. We’re driving down the field, and, boy, do we have the right team.”

The running mate of Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Tim Walz, gave a rousing speech on the third night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), delivering a powerful keynote that showcased the values he’s bringing to the Harris-Walz ticket.

Walz highlighted his roots in Nebraska and service in the National Guard. He also called on Americans to unite and support the Harris ticket, shared a powerful story about his daughter Hope, conceived through IVF, as he talked about the importance of reproductive rights, and called on Americans to reject former President Donald Trump’s agenda.

As the DNC enters its fourth and final day, the theme is “For Our Future.” Harris is set to address the nation tonight, outlining her vision for a brighter and more hopeful America.
