Musk Out? Trump Said To Be Eying Exit Ramp for the Tech Mogul

Could ‘s government ride be pulling into the station? According to Politico, President has told his inner circle that Musk is set to step back from his full-time role in the administration within weeks, just as his special government employee status, which skirts ethics rules, expires.

And while Trump has nothing but public praise for the billionaire, behind the scenes it’s a different tune. Some in Trump’s camp are reportedly fed up with Musk’s unpredictability, chaotic chain of command style, and unfiltered outbursts that have blindsided the White House, like the controversial “five things” email blast to federal workers or Musk’s off-the-cuff slam of Social Security on Joe Rogan’s , calling it the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time.

The final straw: Musk’s deep-pocketed support of a losing conservative judge in Wisconsin—a loss some allies say Musk helped to seal.
