(AURN News) — On Sept. 4, 1981, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter was born in Houston, Texas. Today, the global superstar celebrates her 45th birthday.

From her early days with Destiny’s Child to becoming one of the most influential solo artists of all time, Beyoncé has built a legendary career defined by innovation, excellence and groundbreaking achievement.

She has sold millions of records, delivered some of the most celebrated live performances in music history and repeatedly transformed the possibilities for Black women in entertainment.
