(AURN News) — Budget airline Spirit is adding more comfort to its cabins. The airline announced Tuesday a new seating option called “Go Comfy,” which offers more legroom and additional perks. The seats will be installed in seven rows near the front of the plane and will be available for purchase starting this week.
According to Spirit, installation of the seats will begin in June and is expected to be complete across the entire fleet by July.
“Go Comfy” includes several added amenities, the airline says, such as a carry-on bag, no change or cancellation fees, priority boarding, reserved overhead bin space, a snack, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
“Spirit’s new premium options offer travelers exceptional value, and we’re creating even more opportunities for Guests to experience them with our new extra-legroom seating option,” said Rana Ghosh, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, in a statement.
