This is Clay Cane. The Oscar nominations are in. Notable nominees include “Lift Me Up” by Rihanna from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” for best original song,Ruth Carter for best costume design for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which she won an Oscar for in 2019, and the Marvel film also received a nomination for best picture. In addition, Angela Bassett was nominated for her role in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” for best supporting actress. This marks Bassett’s second nomination, her last nomination was in 1994 for Tina Turner in “What’s Love Got to Do with It.” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” received a total of five nominations.The 95th annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will air on March 12 on ABC.
