In what could end up being quite damaging, Tiffany Haddish has released a statement following accusations that she and fellow comedian, Aaron Spears, groomed two siblings to perform sexually suggestive acts on camera when the alleged victims were underage. Haddish did admit on Instagram that an inappropriate sketch described in a lawsuit as pedophile-themed happened and that she regrets taking part.

The statement reads, “I know people have a bunch of questions. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little I can say right now. But clearly, while the sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all. And I deeply regret having agreed to act in it.”

Well, she says she looks forward to being able to share more about the situation. The lawsuit was filed on August 29th against Haddish and Spears, claiming that the entertainers coerced the children into performing sexually suggestive acts on camera. This allegedly happened back in 2013.

It gets very explicit in the lawsuit. I am not going to tell you all the details. But all I know is that this could be damaging quite damaging. I’m not sure if these allegations are true at all, and I’m sure it will all come out in court, but let’s just say this: this could be a career buster. Stay tuned.
