Donald Trump has won the Iowa caucuses, putting him in the lead in the Republican 2024 presidential race. Trump’s margin of victory? Huge, outpacing his rivals by 30 points.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis won the second spot, with a significant distance from Trump’s numbers, however.

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley followed closely behind DeSantis, with just a narrow margin separating the two. These results not only highlight Trump’s strong influence in the GOP but also set the stage for a competitive race ahead.

Next on the campaign trail is New Hampshire, which holds its primary on January 23.

With Trump’s commanding lead in Iowa, attention now turns to how DeSantis, Haley, and other candidates like Ramaswamy will recalibrate their strategies for the upcoming primaries.
