Tupac Shakur, the award-winning rapper and film star, is set to receive the 2,758th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Shakur will receive his star in the category of recording.

The rapper, actor, activist, poet, and revolutionary has continued to be a part of our lives for decades following his passing which was way too soon. Big Boi is going to be unveiling the star along with Allen Hughes, who directed the docu-series “Dear Mama.” Yes, that is me. Yours truly, Tanya Hart, that you do see in that docu-series. That was taken from our Oscar-nominated documentary, “Tupac Resurrection.” We will have more on the star ceremony and you’ll be able to see some of the video on Instagram (@aurnonline).

Just as Cuba Gooding Jr.’s trial for rape was about to begin in a Manhattan court, it was over. Cuba settled with the unnamed woman in the lawsuit. The judge made it clear the woman would have to be named in court. So maybe that was the deciding factor, or perhaps maybe it was the amount of money he had to give to her for settling. I don’t know, but I am so sure he is glad that part of it is over.
