Police are searching for a student who allegedly shot two faculty members at a Denver high school. Police Chief Ron Thomas says the incident occurred this morning at East High School.

The two victims were transported to a local hospital. One is undergoing surgery, while the other is in stable condition. Police say the suspect was required to be searched every day before entering the school due to past behavior issues. During the search, they say he pulled out a gun and started firing.

Authorities say they know the shooter’s identity and are searching to locate him.
