The Biden-Harris administration has released a fact sheet highlighting their efforts to ensure equity in 32 major American Rescue Plan policies. It details programs representing nearly $900 billion, or 60%, of American Rescue Plan funds.

The administration says it is further evidence that the ARP spurred the most equitable economic recovery in memory, which led to the largest job growth ever in a calendar year. The release notes that unemployment claims declined from nearly 20 million when the president took office to close to one million, and unemployment reached 3.6%.

Black unemployment rates are now above pre-pandemic levels, more jobs were created in rural communities in 2021 than any other year in the last two decades, the child tax credit led to low child poverty rates, and Black entrepreneurship was 17% above pre-pandemic levels.

The report also goes into business revitalization, equitable housing recovery, and many other policies. The full fact sheet is available to the public on the White House website.
