Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, left his concert at Dallas’ American Airlines Center last night early, after suffering a broken foot injury.

TMZ reports that an American Airlines Center official confirmed the singer, 34, broke his foot, which lead to him leaving the stage 30 minutes before the concert was supposed to end. Gambino left the stage without any warning, without playing his hit songs Redbone and 3005, which surprised the packed crowd. The site later added, ‘He arrived to his set in a wheelchair and leg brace, removing it before he got onstage. It appears Sunday night’s incident was a result of aggravating the preexisting injury.’

There are varying reports of how the injury happened, according to different concert goers. One concert goer in attendance last night said that Gambino injured himself after attempting to do the splits. Others in attendance, however, claimed Gambino’s injury was suffered after he ‘misstepped’ during a dance move.
