Black Panther opens next week, but the big premier has already happened right here in Los Angeles. In case you’re wondering what will happen without King T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman. Well, Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with Nakia and Everett Ross to forge a new path for their beloved Kingdom. Lupita Nyong’o reprises her role as Nakia. Here she is, this is a special moment, to be coming back to this film and to be doing so without Chadwick Boseman.

Um, we very much made this film in his honor and with him in mind, and so we carry him with us and it really feels special to be back, and I’m very ready to share this with the world. Um, and hopefully it is received the same amount of love and generosity that we made it.

I cannot wait to see this on the big screen. And up next of course, is the queen herself. Angela Bassett will be joining us to talk about her role in Black Panther 2. You don’t wanna miss that.
