Republican lawmakers attempted to rewrite history during a House Oversight Committee saying there was no insurrection and criticized law enforcement

Andrew Clyde (R-GA) said the riot at the Capitol Building was like a “normal tourist visit” and that Trump supporters behaved in an orderly fashion.

Five people died and over 100 officers were injured on January 6.
