After five years of marriage and three months of co-parenting their infant son, Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana have reportedly agreed to go their separate ways.

Jackson and Al Mana started 2017 on a good foot, with January 3 marking the birth of young Eissa, months after the Jackson family star made headlines by announcing that she was pregnant at the age of 50. According to sources close to the family, however, their marriage was already strained, albeit they are said to be parting on relatively good terms.

Jackson reportedly plans to locate herself in London, where she will raise Eissa. Al Mana is expected to remain in the child’s life, but it remains to be seen whether or not the divorce process will hinder communication between Jackson and the 42-year-old business magnate, who is worth four times as much as her and could be forced to pay big bucks in child support and alimony.
