John Ridley IV, who won an Academy Award for 12 Years a Slave, will write a four-part Batman comic series slated to drop in January.

“I think it’s a pretty safe bet that if I’m writing Batman, it’s probably a little better than a 47% chance he’s going to be a person of color,” Ridley said during the DC Fandome virtual event. He also teased that the focus of the series would be the family of Luscious Fox, the head of Wayne Enterprises portrayed by Morgan Freeman in The Dark Knight trilogy.

Plus, Sean “Diddy” Combs brought together an all-star ensemble of recording artists together including Nas and Travis Scott.
