The beleaguered Golden Globes is has taken a step closer to cancellation after 77 years of operation due to an ongoing controversy. The HFPA committed to doubling membership within 18 months and to ensure that half of all new members would come from unrepresented groups, electing a new board, and hiring outside executive leadership.

Streaming giant Netflix announced they will no longer participate if action is not swift, precise, and inclusive.

Plus, Academy Award nominated Judas and the Black Messiah star Lakeith Stanfield apologizes for joining a Clubhouse chat about the teachings of Louis Farrakhan which derailed when participants started making anti-Semetic remarks.
