Lizzo Stepping Up For Reproductive Rights

Lizzo is stepping up for reproductive rights and donating funds to abortion advocacy groups over the holiday weekend. The 34-year-old musician took to Instagram on the 4th of July to announce that all proceeds from her Yitty brand from July 2-4 would be donated to promote body autonomy.

The “Truth Hurts” singer is among several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, who spoke out on Independence Day about women’s rights being stripped away in the United States following the Supreme court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Yitty is Lizzo’s new shapewear brand. She announced it back in March and recently just dropped a new collection on Today. Well, everybody is loving it and you know, A lot of folks were speaking out due to a shortage of independence in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. This is not going away. We’ll hear a lot more about it.

And on the other side of that issue, Jhené Aiko and her long-time boyfriend, Big Sean are expecting their first child together. And they’re very happy about it. The songstress was spotted with a big baby bump while she was out in Beverly Hills with her beau over the weekend. Jhené already has a 13-year-old daughter, Namiko Love, with her ex-boyfriend, R&B singer O’Ryan.

She’s also been married, but she and Big Sean met when they appeared in Lil Wayne’s 2013 single video “Beware.” They went on to form a romantic relationship three years later. She finalized her divorce from Dot da Genius, a record producer, in 2017.

Jhené and Big Sean attended the 2021 Grammy Awards, where they were both nominees, and they’ve been together ever since.
