Maxine Waters on WH Response to Pandemic, Bailout, Financial Ruin for Working Americans

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, calls out the White House and State Department for botched response to the coronavirus pandemic and for abandoning the American people.

It is shameful, disappointing, & tragic that the greatest country in the world, the US, has only tested 14,000 people as opposed to S. Korea which is testing 20,000 per day. Trump, you must immediately reestablish the pandemic office you shut down to avoid future crisis failures.

Rep. Waters also voices concerns for elderly and infirm who are home alone without access to grocery stores and pharmacies, and California’s homeless population, which will likely grow after the economic crisis brought on by COVID-19.
