The Urban League of Greater Atlanta is celebrating more than 100 years serving the Black community.  It was founded in 1920 as an affiliate of the National Urban League to support the African American families migrating from the rural communities of Georgia to the at the time, newly industrialized city of Atlanta during segregated times. The organization is a dedicated person-to-person group invested in the civil rights, economic success, and overall well-being of people who have been oppressed and marginalized.
