The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame unveiled its 2025 list of inductees, featuring trailblazing acts like OutKast and Salt-N-Pepa.
OutKast — the influential Atlanta duo made up of Big Boi and André 3000 — will be inducted into the Performer category, recognizing artists whose innovation reshaped the direction of rock and roll. Known for groundbreaking albums such as “ATLiens” and the Grammy-winning “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,” the duo transformed Southern hip-hop during an era dominated by East and West Coast sounds.
Salt-N-Pepa will receive the Musical Influence Award. Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and DJ Spinderella paved the way for women in hip-hop with hits such as “Push It” and “Shoop.”
The induction ceremony will take place Nov. 8 in Los Angeles.
