Travis Scott is in his second year of helping Black college students

According to a recent press release, Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation has awarded $1 million in scholarships to HBCU students. In partnership with the Waymon Webster Scholarship, the students were required to have a 3.5 GPA or higher.

The recipients were graduating seniors from 38 HBCUs, which included Alabama A&M University, Central State University, Florida A&M University, Jackson State University, Morehouse College, Texas Southern University, Grambling State University and more.

Project manager and Scott’s sister, Jordan Webster, graduated from Howard University this year and said her brother’s philanthropy “means the world” to the students.
