Rapper Wiz Khalifa’s concert in suburban Indianapolis ended early and abruptly Friday after a shooting scare caused people to flee the outdoor venue. Three people were left with injuries. Thank God no one was hurt worse than that. People started exiting the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Ind., at about 10:30 p.m. after a reported disturbance on the amphitheater’s lawn. Well, some of the folks shouted about a possible shooting, but no weapon was found.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office said that police did not immediately reply to a message seeking details on the nature of the disturbance. The audience, many of them young folks, began exiting as security responded and all exits were open according to the Ruoff’s emergency procedures.
The music stopped immediately and Khalifa and his band left the stage. Three people reported minor injuries as the venue was evacuated and were taken to area hospitals for treatment. But again, no one was seriously hurt and thank goodness no guns or weapons were found. Cuz you know, we like Wiz Khalifa.
In other news, LeBron James and his wife Savannah kept the birthday vibes going at the Kendrick Lamar concert. That was on Sunday. They were grooving to the rap superstar’s music. Now the king and his queen hit up the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, one day after her special day. And by the looks of it, they were having the time of their lives. In the clip, you see James and Savannah posted up in what appears to be a kind of private seating area. But honey, you know, they weren’t just standing around. They were definitely getting their party on.
Once fans noticed the four-time champ in the building, many of them swarmed to the James gang spot, taking photos and videos of LBJ. And you can tell he was really feeling a lot of the songs because when the MC started performing his hit song “HUMBLE.” James went crazy and even engaged with the crowd.
And by the way, Kendrick Lamar is on tour. He will be here in Los Angeles as well. But I guess LeBron and Savannah decided they would just go to Canada to see him because you know, why not?
