Workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts are at the forefront of national political discussions, as highlighted by a recent report from the Pew Research Center. The majority of employed individuals (56%) view an emphasis on increasing DEI positively, though opinions differ significantly based on demographics and political affiliations.
The study also reveals that a significant portion of workers have encountered DEI measures in their workplaces, such as fairness policies and DEI trainings. Notably, Black workers express a greater desire for increased attention to DEI, with 78% supporting such efforts, while women also place higher value on workplace diversity. These findings shed light on the ongoing conversation surrounding DEI and its impact on the modern workforce.
