Hollywood Live Extra #10: A Conversation with television, film and theater actor Joe Morton

My guest today is one of the greatest stage, television, and film actors of our time and perhaps of all time. Joe Morton became a household name after his performance in John Sayles’ 1984 film The Brother from Another Planet.

Since then he has gone on to win several accolades playing numerous roles including his Emmy Award winning turn as Eli Pope in the TV series Scandal. This time around he is reprising his role in the mega franchise movie, Justice League, as Silas Stone, the father of Victor Stone/Cyborg.

Joe is here to talk about the rise in Black super heroes on the big screen as well as his latest passion, Turn Me Loose, his two-man stage play about the life of comedian Dick Gregory.
