Vice President Kamala Harris has unveiled her “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men” today. She’s doubling down on her efforts to win over Black male voters, with polls showing nearly 20 percent of Black men are leaning toward Donald Trump.
Her plan tackles economic and social challenges, including providing 1 million fully fundable loans for Black entrepreneurs, creating wealth-building opportunities, and championing education and mentorship programs. Harris also promises to address health inequities, focusing on conditions like diabetes and sickle cell disease, which disproportionately impact Black men.
In contrast, Trump’s previous term saw millions of Black men lose jobs and health insurance. Harris’ campaign insists her plan offers a path to economic freedom, lower costs, and financial empowerment, positioning her as a candidate who will deliver real results.
