The House committee investigating last year’s attack on the Capitol sent subpoenas out to five GOP members, which include House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Representatives Andy Biggs, Jim Jordan, Scott Perry, and Mo Brooks. The subpoenas are seeking further information concerning their dealings with former President Donald Trump and other leaders in connection with the January 6 insurrection.

All five GOP members are pushing back. One of them, Representative Andy Biggs, dismissed the subpoenas as merely an attempt to create headlines.
