Cedric the Entertainer will be the first Black solo host of the Emmys since Bryant Gumbel hosted the awards in 1997. Tanya Hart spoke with Cedric about the hosting gig and the recognition of Black creative talent.

The 73rd Emmy Awards airs Sunday at 8 PM Eastern on CBS.
