If you ever wanted your own piece of music history and 50 acres of former amusement park – here is your chance. Michael Jackson’s infamous Neverland Ranch is back on the market and its price has been slashed to the not so bargain basement price of $67 million.
The firm who bought the singer’s debt and then restored the property have been trying to sell the sprawling ranch, which is located just outside of Santa Barbara, California, for almost two years. On Wednesday, the property was put back up for sale with a new realtor and a new price tag which is $33 million less than originally listed. No doubt the home’s history – both good and bad – played into reluctance to pony up the cash required – that and the fact that the theme park rides are gone (along with Michael’s elephants and beloved chimp Bubbles).
