Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are set to square off in the first and only scheduled debate this Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Philadelphia. It will air at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. It comes just two months before Election Day, making it a crucial moment in the 2024 race.

Harris is expected to focus on economic issues, emphasizing her proposals to lower costs for American families, while going after Trump’s Project 2025 agenda, which she calls a direct threat to reproductive rights and the middle class. Trump, on the other hand, is expected to attack Harris’s record as vice president, tying her to the Biden administration’s policies on inflation, immigration, and crime.

Microphones will be muted when it’s not the candidate’s turn to speak. Each side will get two minutes to speak, followed by a two-minute rebuttal and a follow-up.

The high-stakes debate is the only opportunity for voters to see Harris and Trump face to face before Election Day.
