Fisk University has announced its launch of a Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team, making it the first HBCU as well as the first college in Tennesse with a gymnastic program. Athletic director Dr. Larry Glover said a coach is expected to be hired within the next couple of months and The program is set to begin in Fall 2022. Fisk University also plans to host several conferences, clinics, and invitationals in partnership with organizations like Brown Girls do Gymnastics.
