Kanye West remains at a hospital in Los Angeles – more than a day after he was admitted on a psychiatric hold. The E! network is confirming what many news agencies have been reporting since Monday – that West was hospitalized after his personal doctor called 911. When police responded, they determined the call was medical or emotional in nature, not a criminal matter – and West was taken to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

E!, which airs the Kardashian family reality show and its spinoffs, says its cameras weren’t rolling when the 911 call was placed – and that they aren’t filming at the hospital where West is being treated. West is married to Kim Kardashian, who has had no comment on what’s going on with her husband. (UPDATED: 11/23/16)

After abruptly canceling the rest of his Saint Pablo tour, Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized in Los Angeles.
According to People and NBC News, West was taken to UCLA Medical Center Monday to be treated for exhaustion. Officer Mike Lopez from the Los Angeles Police Department could not specifically reference an incident with West, but told USA TODAY that the LAPD responded to a disturbance call at 1:20 p.m. PT
Monday in West Hollywood. Lopez said the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and that no crime had been committed. LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey, who also did not specifically name West, said the fire department responded to “an unspecified medical aid request” in the 900 block of North Laurel Avenue. “An adult male, described as medically stable, was taken to an area hospital for further assessment,” he said.
The incident comes after West, 39, ignited a Twitter storm Thursday by saying he “would’ve voted for Donald Trump” at a concert in Sacramento, Calif. More recently, West cut his Saturday concert in Sacramento short after several songs, but not before calling out Beyoncé and addressing Jay Z: “Call me, brah, you still ain’t call me. Jay Z, I know you got killas, please don’t send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man,” he said. The latter show left fans so upset that Ticketmaster refunded their tickets. The 21 remaining tour dates that West had scheduled through New Year’s Eve were canceled early Monday.
