“Our economy has created 10 million jobs, 668 [thousand] manufacturing jobs — proof that “Made in America” is no longer a slogan,” President Biden said.

The U.S. Labor Department released the September jobs report today showing unemployment fell to 3.5% in September from 3.7% in August. Low unemployment has been a highlighted achievement for the Biden administration ahead of the November midterms.

The Federal Reserve is keeping a close eye on job growth to see if it needs to get even more aggressive in slowing the economy. Interest rates have already been raised five times this year in an effort to slow down inflation.

Republicans are blaming rising costs on Democrat policies and are banking on voter dissatisfaction heading into the midterms.
